What is Advocacy? 

Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain the services they need. Advocates work in partnership with the people they support and take their side.



An advocate can provide you with information about:

  1. Accessing and engaging with services in Hackney

  2. Your rights and how to exercise your rights

  3. Complaints procedures

  4. Getting legal support

  • Living in the Community
